Change For Them

It wasn’t that I

didn’t know where I was,

It wasn’t that I

didn’t know what

to do,

It wasn’t that I,

Didn’t know who

I was.  They didn’t

know me. They didn’t

like me. They didn’t

respect me. I had

learned long ago

who I wasn’t.

I wasn’t them.

I wasn’t like them, and I

didn’t like them.

It wasn’t my job to change.

For them.
